Residential roofing
Northern Colorado roofing services
Most of our work is insurance hail claims. Northern Colorado roofing is largely storm work, and alongside it we handle repairs and full replacements on both shingle and metal roofs. Every job starts the same way, with a free inspection and a straight answer about what your roof actually needs.
What we do
The Northern Colorado roofing work we take on
We are a residential roofing contractor. We do not take commercial work, which keeps the crew on houses in the towns we actually live near.
Insurance and hail damage claims
Northern Colorado gets hit hard, and most of the roofs we replace are paid for through a homeowner's insurance claim rather than out of pocket. We inspect the roof, document what the storm did, and stay with the claim from the first look through to the finished roof so you are not the one chasing paperwork.
Roof replacement
A full tear off and rebuild when a roof is past repairing, whether that is storm damage or age. Shingle or metal, decking checked and replaced where it needs to be, and the yard left clean.
Roof repair
Leaks, missing or lifted shingles, damaged flashing, and the kind of small problems that turn into big ones if they sit through a Colorado winter. If a repair is the honest answer, we will say so.
Metal roofing
Standing seam and metal panel roofs on houses, shops and outbuildings. A longer lasting roof that stands up well to hail, wind and the sun we get on the Front Range.
Asphalt shingle roofing
The most common roof in Weld and Larimer County, and the one we install most. Architectural shingles from the manufacturers listed further down this page.
Free roof inspection
No charge and no obligation. We get on the roof, look at it properly, take photos and tell you what we find, including when the answer is that your roof is fine and you do not need us yet.
Storm damage assessment
After a hail or wind event we will come out and tell you whether there is real damage worth claiming. Plenty of roofs come through a storm fine, and you deserve to know that before anyone starts a claim.
Residential only. We do not take on commercial roofing, so if you have been sent here for a warehouse or a retail building we are not the right crew and we will tell you rather than waste your time.
Insurance claims
How a hail claim usually goes
Every insurer is a little different, but this is the shape of it. You are not expected to know any of this already, which is the point of us being there.
The free inspection
We come out, get on the roof and look at it properly. If there is storm damage we photograph it and write up what we found. If there is not, we say so and there is no charge either way.
You file the claim
The claim is between you and your insurer, so you make the call. We hand you the photos and the write up so you are not describing hail damage from memory over the phone.
The adjuster visit
Your insurer sends an adjuster out to look at the roof. We meet them there and walk the roof with them, so what they are measuring and what we are quoting are the same roof.
Scheduling the work
Once the claim is settled we book you in and order materials. You pick the shingle or the metal, and we tell you honestly how long the job takes.
The build
Tear off, deck inspection, underlayment, and the new roof. Most residential roofs are a one or two day job depending on size and pitch.
The clean up
We leave the work area better than it was when we arrived. That is not a slogan we picked up somewhere, it is the thing our customers keep writing about in reviews.
Materials
What goes on your roof
We install shingles from the manufacturers below, and metal panel systems where a metal roof is the better call. Which product suits your house depends on the roof, the exposure and what your claim covers, and we will walk you through the options before anything is ordered.
Recent work
Roofs we finished around Weld and Larimer County
A few of the houses we have re-roofed recently. Shingle and metal, insurance claims and out of pocket jobs, nearly all of it within an hour of Eaton.

Underlayment going down on a full tear off near Eaton.

A standing seam metal roof on a ranch home, built to take hail.

Two neighbors, both hail claims, finished the same week.
Where we work
We are based in Eaton and cover Weld and Larimer County. If your town is not on this list it is worth a call anyway, because we are often nearby.
Questions
The things people ask us first
Does the inspection really cost nothing?
Yes. We get on the roof, look at it, photograph what we find and tell you what we think. If your roof is fine you owe us nothing and we will say it is fine.
Do I have to file an insurance claim to use you?
No. Most of our work is claim work because that is what Colorado hail does to roofs, but we take out of pocket jobs too. Repairs and replacements both.
Shingle or metal, which should I be putting on?
It depends on the roof, the pitch, how exposed the house is and what your budget or claim covers. We install both and we have no reason to push you at one, so ask us on the inspection and we will give you the straight comparison for your house.
Do you do commercial roofs?
No. Houses only. It keeps the crew doing the work they are best at and it keeps us in the towns we live near.
Free roof inspection
Not sure what your roof needs? Neither is anyone until someone gets up there.
Call us and we will come out, take a proper look and tell you what we find. No charge, and no pressure to do anything about it.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Serving Eaton, Greeley, Fort Collins and the towns between.
