This garden is a beautiful place to wander and enjoy the wonder of Colorado. The Benson Sculpture Garden offers 158 different sculptures by world renown artists spread over a 10-acre park. The park is open for you to wander through at your leisure, though they also offer tours, as well. You can find a map online as well as a guide showing you the artists.

Swetsville Zoo

This unique zoo doesn’t house any live animals at all, though it is crawling with animals built out of car parts, farm machinery, and scrap metal. This zoo created by Bill Swets, a former farmer who found a new hobby of creating these unique creatures in 1985. Walk through a winding wooded path and enjoy the whimsy of Bill’s creations.

Chapungu Sculpture Park

In the Chapungu Sculpture Park, you will find 82 stone sculptures created by Zimbabwean artists, bringing African art into the heart of Northern Colorado. The park offers 26 acres of natural and landscaped gardens to explore. They offer interactive maps that you can access on your smartphone to guide you through the customs, legends, and culture of Africa.
